John D. Freeman

Freeman, John D.; of Clarkston, formerly of Allen Park; passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends after a long battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Barbara Freeman and survived in death by his loving father Bruce and brother Richard. John was born May 24, 1972, in Dearborn MI. He was raised in Allen Park where earned the Honor of Eagle Scout. He then graduated from Allen Park High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Hillsdale College.

John was a passionate person and loved life. He loved music as he would say "Good Music". He also enjoyed writing and reading various genres from Nietzsche to how to manuals. John also enjoyed concerts, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Steelers, fantasy football, collectables and traveling with close friends and family. John was very devoted to caring for his parents and adored his cats Iggy and Wednesday.

Memorial Service Thursday, May 18 ^th at 12:30 pm at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston where friends may visit at 11:30 am. Private Inurnment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp.
