John W. Moody

MOODY, John W.; of Waterford; born January 13, 1945 in Detroit to Philip and Barbara Moody; passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 81.

Husband of Kathy for 31 years. Father of Aaron (Caitlin Drzewiecki) Moody. Brother of Linda Moody, Dan (Sharon) Moody and Mark (Charleen) Moody.

Preceded in death by his siblings: the late Paul Moody, the late Phil (Cherrie) Moody, the late Dr. Judith Moody and the late Joan Muhme.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

John served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He earned a bachelor's of science in Industrial Management from Lawrence Technological University. He formerly owned and operated Pontiac Coil and Lawrence Plastics. John enjoyed traveling, reading, and boating. Currently he co-owned P.L.I.(Pontiac Lake Inn) with his wife.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Sunday, March 29th from 3:00pm-7:00pm.

Funeral Service Monday, March 30th at 12:30pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forgotten Harvest.
