Jollietta Coleman

COLEMAN, Jollietta,G. "Jolly" of Livonia/Clarkston, MI; born in Detroit to Jollie and Edna Crawford on December 29, 1939, passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Coleman; loving mother of Kimberly (Al Avery) Coleman, Stacey (Paul) Chewins, and Donald (Denise) Coleman; dear grandmother to Kelsey, Cody (Michelle), Cole, Laura (Daren), Alayna (Brian) and Amanda (Matt); and great grandmother of Marlowe, Henry, and Jax.

Jolly's greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She deeply cherished the time spent with them. Being raised by deaf parents, Jolly became fluent in American Sign Language at a young age and had even taught her siblings, showing just the kind of person she was. Jolly was very talented and adventurous. She indulged in many hobbies and crafts which include but were not limited to needlepoint, crocheting, knitting, cake decorating, cooking, baking, and loved a good game of bingo or bowling. She had a special place in her heart for the outdoors, flowers, and her dogs. Giving back to the community through volunteering was something she truly enjoyed. Whether that was at school or somewhere else, she always took up the opportunity to give back. She will be deeply missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 12:30 PM. Friends may visit beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clarkston Family Farm .
