Joseph "Joe" Henry Talbot

Talbot, Joseph Henry, "Joe" of Clarkston died peacefully with his family by his side on February 12, 2025. Loving husband of Susan, beloved father of Tina Talbot and Beth (Jeffrey) Mellis, cherished grandpa of Brent, Michelle (Nick), Andrew, Sarah, and Phillip and dearest brother of Jeffrey (Sharon) Talbot and Susan Lang. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Dolores Talbot, daughter, Rebecca Andringa, son-in-law, William Andringa, grandson, Jason Andringa, and brother, John Talbot.

Joe was a mail carrier in Waterford, retiring with 30 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and watching Michigan Football. Joe had a love for history, especially the Civil War Era. As an active member of the Michigan Treasure Hunters Club, Joe traveled all of Michigan and Virginia looking for treasures with his metal detector, however his family was always his most valuable treasure.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2025, from 3pm to 8pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 1pm at the funeral home, with visitation begins at 12 noon.
