Joseph Charles Stoecklin

STOECKLIN, Joseph Charles; of Clarkston, went to be with his Lord on June 22nd, 2024, at the age of 94. Preceded in death by his beloved wife for nearly 72 years, Shirley.

Loving Father of Richard (Rita) Stoecklin, Robert (late Norma) Stoecklin, Martin (Debbie) Stoecklin, Michael Stoecklin, Kevin (Eileen) Stoecklin, Pamela (Scott) Simot, and Sandra (Paul) VanHeulen; proud Grandpa of Shauna, Martin, Angela, Kimberly, Amy, Joel, Cameron, Aaron, Michael, Joseph, Elizabeth, Nate and Great Grandpa to several. He had three siblings and was the last child surviving.

Joe retired in 1987 from Detroit Edison as a computer programmer. He was a long time member of St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston. Joe loved being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping and boating. Many family memories were made at the family cottage in Oscoda. He will be remembered as a jokester, who maintained his incredible sense of humor to the very end.

Friends may visit at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, on Thursday, June 27th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm with a Rosary Service at 6:30pm

A Funeral Mass will be held the next day, Friday, June 28th at 11:00am at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston. Family and friends may arrive at church any time after 10:30am.

Private Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Clarkston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association
