Joy Anne Frick (Wint)

FRICK, Joy Anne (WINT) of Clarkston; passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 14, 2025; age 66.  Beloved wife of Floyd for 26 years.  Loving and devoted mother of Kenny (Jason Johnson) Leonard and Kelly (Lonnie) Barker.  Proud Nana of Kennedy (Eric) Benson, Faith Victory, Delaney Victory, Leo Barker, Kendra Barker, Raegan Barker, and Lawson Barker.  Dearest sister of Bill (Marie) Wint.  Like a sister to Jan Lawson and Ann Bickerstaff.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Diane Wint.

Joy was head cashier at Rite Aid in Clarkston and Ortonville for over 24 years. Joy was a "Master of Facts" oftentimes remembering special occurrences from many years ago.  She was a lifelong resident of Clarkston and graduated from Clarkston High School in 1976.  Joy was proud to be the first woman President of the Clarkston Jaycee's.  She was an amazing cook and loved her Detroit Lions and U of M football.  Joy enjoyed living on the lake, boating, hosting bonfires but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.  She was a JOY to the world.

Visitation Saturday 6-8 pm and Sunday 3-5 & 7-9 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Funeral Service Monday, January 20th at 11 am at the funeral home.

Interment Lakeview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Clarkston SCAMP or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
