KILEY, Judith “Judy” Ellen, born February 27, 1937, in Moline Iowa, formerly of Lady Lake and Sarasota, Florida, passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 89.
Judy was the beloved mother of Katy (Keith) Overby, Anne (Rick) Vincent, Lisa (Scott) Bradley, and the late Thomas (Michele) Shoan; proud grandmother of Erin (Joe) Roy, CJ Shillenn, Charlotte (Matt) Kalb, Kenneth Vincent, Melissa (Stevie) Walsh, Stephanie (Phil) Kapets, Angelica (Eric) Hull, Davis Shoan, Haley (Mark) Scarlata, and Dalton Shoan; and adored great-grandmother, “GG,” of Grace, Ava, Cole, Jacob, Caleb, Luca, Bradley, Nolan, Willow, Lila, Eden, Claire, Oscar, Olive, and Arthur. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Shoan; her second husband, John Kiley Jr.; her sisters, Diane and Susan; and her parents, Kenneth and Suzanne Hartman.
Judy gave generously of her time and her heart as a devoted volunteer with many organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Love INC, North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake, and Church of the Palms in Sarasota. She also served as President of the Board of Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
Judy loved her dogs, traveling, and entertaining, but most of all she treasured the time she spent with her family. Always up for fun, she played tennis and golf and enjoyed a nice Old Fashioned. Her family will cherish countless memories of family dinners, euchre at the cottage, boating, fishing, and songs around the campfire. She will be remembered for her generosity, her kind and compassionate heart, and her wonderful sense of humor.
Memorial service will be held 11:00am Saturday, November 11th at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2225 W 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham, MI 48009. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
