Julieta "Esther" Diaz

DIAZ, Julieta "Esther" age 100, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 25, 2025.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Yolanda (Jeff) Martin, grandchildren, Julie (PJ) Cox, Tammy (Doug) Velliquette, Jeffrey Martin, Tiffany, (Jesse) Lopez, Joshua Diaz, Josiah (Ashley) Diaz, and Kyle Martin; many great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother Benito R. (the late Rachel) Diaz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Canderlario and Enemesia Diaz, Son, Felix (Edith) Diaz, daughter, Anita (Terry) Luscumb, and 10 siblings.

Esther worked for GM for over 30 years, before retiring. She was a devout Catholic and prayed the Rosary daily. She enjoyed the outdoors, nature and animals, and other favorites include watching reality tv, completing word searches, and reading. Esther was a devoted mom, grandma, great-grandma, great-great grandma, sister, aunt and friend, always there to lend a hand helping others. She touched so many lives, putting everyone ahead of herself and will be dearly missed by all!

Esther's family will receive friends at the St. Perpetua Catholic Church, Waterford, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00; cremation to follow. Esther will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
