June Kathleen (Best) Lee

LEE, (BEST) June Kathleen of Clarkston, formerly of Waterford,  passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 92, surrounded by her family. Loving mother to Kim (Mary Jo) Best and Duane (Mychelle) Best; adored grandma of Anne-Marie (Christopher) Drouin, Jennifer (Patrick) Casey, Chris (Marianne) Tear and Brandon Best, and devoted great-grandma of Harper, Gannon, McKenna, Owen, Delaney, and Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Harris, her husband's Fredrick Best and Hugh Lee, and her 5 siblings.

June was a devoted wife, mother and "Grandma June" making her family her first priority. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. In her retirement years June was very active in the Waterford Golden Age Club, where she logged over 13,000 miles of walking. She also participated in square dancing club, ice skating club and roller skating club, well into her golden years. When not busy with family, and the senior center, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A Private Service and Burial will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Waterford.

Memorial donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or Waterford Parks and Recreation-Golden Age Club.

June's family would like to thank the Staff of Vista Springs and Heart to Heart Hospice for the love, care and compassion shown to our mom and grandma, your kindness will always be remembered.
