Karl E. Rhodes, Jr.

RHODES, Karl E. Jr, formerly of Frankfort & Clarkston; passed away December 25, 2023, age 92; devoted father of Scott (Carol) Rhodes & Amy (Tim) Hagerty; loving papa to Addison & Cole Rhodes; dear brother of John (Kathy) Rhodes and uncle of many. Preceded in death by his parents, Karl Sr. & Marie Rhodes, his wife, Delores Rhodes, and his siblings, Barbara Hamlin, Margaret Mellon, Shirley Voorheis, and Elmer Rhodes.

Karl was employed at the Bloomfield Department of Water & Sewer, retiring in 1986 as a foreman. He also owned and operated Rhodes Gifts & Jewelry with his wife in Frankfort from 1984-2008. Karl was a devoted family man and was very proud of his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time at his home in Frankfort, going fishing, was a member of the Waterford Sportsmen's Club, and was an avid sports fan, who loved to root for the Detroit Tigers.

Friends may visit at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm Interment will follow at Square Lake Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind or Beaumont Hospice.
