Larry Edward DeAngelis

DeAngelis, Larry Edward; of Clarkston, MI formerly of Lowellville, OH; passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, at the age of 87.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia. Father of Laura (Matthew) Fletcher and Gary DeAngelis; Grandfather of Brannon Fletcher, Jenna Fletcher, Aiden Fletcher, and Alex DeAngelis; Brother of Donald (Angie) DeAngelis.

Larry earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Youngstown State University and worked his entire career as an electrical engineer for Ford Motor Company. He lived in Germany for 5 years for the Ford of Europe Division. After retirement, Larry continued to consult. He enjoyed traveling the world and loved working outside at home. He will be remembered as a talented woodworker, spending time in his home wood shop and crafting furniture.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Funeral Mass Thursday, August 13th at 11:00 am at St. Daniel’s Catholic Church, Clarkston with visiting at the church at 10:30am.

Graveside service All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.

Memorials may be made to MI Humane Society in honor of Larry’s love for dogs.
