GARBACZ, Larry A.; of Clarkston, formerly of Washington Township and Harrison Township;

born March 3, 1944 in Mishawaka, Indiana to John and Elaine Garbacz;

passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on April 1, 2026 at the age of 82.

Husband of Barbara for 34 years.

Step Father of Caryn (Brad Collier) Finch-Collier and Marc (Jenni) Finch.

Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Brother of David (Maggie) Garbacz, Joyce Wisemiller, John (Connie) Garbacz, Kim Lundgren Garbacz, Chris Hanna and Bill (Sherry) Hanna.

Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kevin Garbacz.

Brother in law of Bonnie Cook.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Larry served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a computer programmer for GTE Valenite and retired from Compuware. Larry enjoyed boating and snowmobiling and was a dedicated Notre Dame football fan.

Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Cemetery service with military honors on Wednesday, April 8th at 12:30pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Meet at staging area at 12:15pm.
