Laura Treasa Merrill

MERRILL, Laura Treasa of Ortonville formerly of Blanchard; born in Parma, Missouri on July 28, 1933 to Tevis and Ruby Rennie;

passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 91;

preceded in death by her husband Glenn and daughter Laura; mother of Terry Ann (George) Didur and Glenn Merrill; grandmother of Glenn IV, Joshua, Amanda, Matthew, Shannon, and Victoria; great grandmother of Julie Ann Tehya, Caleb, Sorin, Brea and Jaiden; sister of Tevis Rennie, Wanda Addams, Donna Heath and Sharon Rennie;

Laura retired as a U.S. Postmaster in Blanchard, MI and was a bank teller at Citizens Bank in Flint, MI. She enjoyed reading and listening to music and will be remembered for her kindness.

A cemetery service at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly will be held Monday, April 14th at 11:00am.

Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
