Lenore A. Lape

LAPE, Lenore; of Clarkston, passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 73. Reunited with her husband Darrell Lape; Survived by her sons Jay Zawacki and Austin Aenis; Grandmother of Kaylee and Izabella; Great Grandmother of Khloe and Myles; Sister of Pam Cortese, Kathy Dickens, and Corky (Barry) Gillis; also survived by her loyal dog, Darla; Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Eleanor Neumann, and by her siblings Joan Stieber, Gerald Neumann, Paul Neumann, and Joseph Neumann.

Lenore was the greatest caregiver anyone could have. She was also someone that anyone that met her, fell in love with her. She was extremely personable and an all around person. She loved cooking and baking. Lenore also enjoyed dancing, singing, and telling jokes. But most importantly she loved her family, and she especially adored her two boys.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday July 30th from 3pm to 8pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday July 30th at 6pm at the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made towards Visiting Angels Home Care.
