Lydia D. Delfranco

Del Franco, Lydia D of White Lake died peacefully on July 28, 2025. Beloved wife of Guy, dear mother of Andrea (Dave) Hartfelder and Guy (Cathleen) Del Franco, and loving "Nanny" of Peter Hartfelder, Mark Hartfelder (Brooke Mainville) and Joseph Hartfelder (Nicole Miller) and Robert (Kaylyn) DelFranco, Scott DelFranco (Myah Parker), and Carly DelFranco (Evan Anthony). She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Irene Vincent.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Lydia was educated locally. After high school she would attend Brooklyn College, where she was a member of the synchronous swimming team. After graduating college, Lydia married the love of her life, Guy Del Franco, and together they shared 68 years of marriage, two children, and six grandchildren. Lydia loved the arts, painting, drawing and singing. She sang in the choir for many years at St. Hugo of the Hills, and her love for animals led her to being a docent at the Detroit Zoo. Lydia also loved children and worked as a teacher's aide at Burt Elementary in the Waterford School District for many years.

In accordance with Lydia's wishes, cremation has taken place, and private burial will be at The Preserve at All Saints Cemetery.
