LANE, Lyle B.; born October 11, 1933 in Keego Harbor to Howard and Annabelle Lane; of Waterford formerly of Clarkston; passed away October 1, 2024 at the age of 90;

husband of Lela (nee Jones) for 66 years; father of Steven (Janet) Lane and Lesa (Brendan Krause) Dupuis; grandpa of Melissa (Matt) Harris, Andrew Lane, Nicole (William) Williams and Katie (Gabe) Masek; great grandpa of Ava, Ethan, Liam and Landon; brother of Evelyn Jarvis and Bruce (Jean) Lane; preceded in death by six siblings; brother in law of the late Glenn Jones and the late Ronald (Kay) Jones; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Lyle and his wife Lela graduated together from Clarkston High School class of 1953. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors working at both the Pontiac Motor and Orion plants. He enjoyed bowling, deer hunting and trying his luck at the casino. Most importantly, he loved spending time with family.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Sunday, October 6th from 4:00pm-6:00pm.

Private graveside service Lakeview Cemetery, Clarkston.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakland County Animal Shelter and Pet Adoption Center .
