Margy Marie Campbell

CAMPBELL, Margy Marie; of Ortonville; born December 12, 1939 in Grosse Pointe to Dorthea and Edward Lundberg; passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 84;

preceded in death by her husband Charles;

mother of Kathy (Jim, M.D.) Mermiges, Karen Romkema, Kristen (Mike) Suran, Rick (Nichole) Campbell and Gary (Chasity) Campbell;

also survived by 29 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren;

sister of the late Carol Michels;

Margy was a woman of strong faith and often attended mass, religious retreats, supported Catholic education and regularly volunteered at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Waterford. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, watching baseball and traveling with her husband.  Margy's true joy was her family; she will be remembered for hosting many family gatherings at the lake.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Wednesday, October 23rd from 4:00pm-8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm.

Funeral Mass Thursday, October 24th at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Waterford with visiting directly at the church at 9:30am.

Rite of Committal Graveside service to follow at All Saints Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church for Tuition Angels.
