Marie Ann Voorhees

VOORHEES, Marie Ann; of Waterford formerly of West Bloomfield and Northport; born October 4, 1948 in Traverse City to Emil and Elizabeth Carlson; Passed away suddenly January 23, 2026  at the age of 77;

Mother of Matthew (Nicole) Voorhees and Jennifer Voorhees; Grandmother "Nana" of Jonathan, Nicholas and Benjamin Voorhees; Also survived by her former husband/dear friend, Robert Voorhees; Sister of Verner (Karen) Carlson and the late Carl (Phyllis) Carlson; Aunt of many;

Marie retired as a Patient Care Technician from St. Joseph Mercy/Trinity Health Hospital, Pontiac. She was a very kind and beautiful soul who brought love with her everywhere. All those who knew her were touched by her sweetness.  She was a loving dog mom to many yorkies and is survived by her dog Lady and her parakeet George. Along with being a talented cook she enjoyed drawing, painting, flower arranging and tending gardens. She was a lover of nature.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Tuesday, Jan. 27th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral Service Wednesday, Jan. 28th at 12:30pm at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Interment All Saints Cemetery, Waterford. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
