BANNER, Marilyn J.; of Shelby Twp, Michigan formerly of South Bend, Indiana; born May 3, 1934 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Dale and Bertha Smith;

Preceded in death by her husband Frank and baby daughter Denise;

Mother of Shelly Banner, Devin Banner, Darin (Deanna) Banner and Shannon Banner;

Grandma/ Grammy/Grandma Roo of Joshua McIntosh, Benjamin (Molly) McIntosh, Stephanie McIntosh, Rachel Davis, Kyle (Lily) Banner, Jack Banner, Trent Banner and Olivia Banner;

Also survived by 14 great grandchildren;

Sister of Maxine (the late Fred) Shoemaker and the late Betty (the late Paul) Malone;

Marilyn was a pillar member of Clarkston Community Church, having offered ministry as secretary for the church & Clarkston Christian School; she also served with several bereavement funeral luncheons. She was a woman of deep faith and service. She was a member of a charity sorority and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Most of all, Marilyn treasured spending time with her family and her church family.

Friends may visit Clarkston Community Church Tuesday, May 27th at 10:00am with a Memorial Service at 11:00am.
