Mark William Bogues

Bogues, Mark William; age 68 of Clarkston; born July 31, 1954, passed away August 20, 2022 following a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Sandy Bogues (nee: Mersino and formerly Egres); father of Jenifer (Ron Chalou) Bogues, Traci (Brad) Haugk, Mike (Sarah) Bogues, Brenda (Zack) Vanek, Lauren Bogues, Andrew Egres, and Anna Egres. Grandfather of Kyle, Ava, Sean, Allie, Carson, Cameron, Bryce, Aubrey, Jaxson, Kallie, Olive, Chelsea, and Cory. Brother of Robert Bogues and Marilyn Tringali. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Preceded in death by wife, Valerie Bogues; parents William & Evelyn Bogues; brother's-in-law, Doug Vensel and Robert Tringali; nephews Jason Vensel and Ryan Young; in-laws Don & Vivian Vensel and Harold & Helen Mersino.

Born and raised in Royal Oak, Michigan; a 1973 graduate of Kimball High School. Owner and proprietor of MWB Contracting. Married to Sandy Egres (nee: Mersino) on November 12, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Ortonville, MI. Sandy is the owner of Signs By Tyke in Clarkston.

Aside from professionally playing in dirt, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family up north in Kalkaska where he enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, barbequing, and tinkering around in the garage. He loved taking his family to sporting events and concerts, and found great pleasure in treating the kids to bulldozer rides. For those who knew Mark, they'll attest to how he couldn't have survived without his ice cream and duct tape.

Mark thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and making sure they had all the toys and sweets they desired. He was a provider that was genuinely happy to take care of anything and everyone; a truly selfless soul.

Visitation for Mark will be held Thursday, August 25 ^th from 4-9 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home in Clarkston, MI. He will lie in state on Friday from 10:30 am until time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 825 S. Ortonville Road, Ortonville, MI 48462. Interment will follow the service at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.

Memorial donations are welcomed to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
