Mary Axsom

AXSOM, Mary; of Pontiac; passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 88; she will be reunited with her husband, the Late "Jay" Albert Axsom; mother of Wes Jenkins, the Late Lesley (Anne) Jenkins, and Cindy (David) Axsom; grandmother of Courtney Jenkins, Jasmine Jenkins, and Dakota Jenkins; sister of Robert Waggoner, Eugene Waggoner, and Daniel Waggoner; preceded in death by her three brothers and her parents Clement and Gertrude Waggoner.

Mary was the life of the party. She wasn't just a professional jokester; she was an actual clown. She participated in her own clown troupe and entertained many at local parades and hospitals. She was also the first female manager at Michigan Bell Telephone Company and was employed at AT&T. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be held for Mary on Tuesday, September 19th at 2pm at Christian Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.
