Mary Evelyn Smith

SMITH, Mary Evelyn; entered life on December 9, 1934 in Tampa, Florida to Clyde and Willie Fletcher; entered eternal life on December 3, 2025 at the age of 90; formerly of Clarkston.  Preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Smith, son Larry A. Smith, her sisters Norma Barnes and Linda Huggard and longtime companion, Harold Bachand.  Loving mother of Terry (Carl) Urwin and Donna (Don) Farnsworth. Mother-in-law of Janice Smith.  Proud grandmother of 7; great grandmother of 23; great, great grandmother of 6.  Dearest sister of Nancy (Ronnie) Reynolds.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mary was a Clarkston Schools bus driver for 25 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, crosswords and jigsaw puzzles.  Mary liked to travel, sew, bake and cook, but most importantly she loved spending time with family.

Family and friends may visit at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Sunday, December 7th from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm. Funeral Service Monday, December 8th at 10:30 am at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston with visiting after 9:30 am.  Private Interment Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
