Mary Lou Gohl

GOHL, Mary Lou; age 73; passed away on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025; went to be with her Lord and Savior after an extended illness. Mary trusted God in all things and was a faithful follower to the end, when she was called to her Heavenly Home.

Mary was born on December 5, 1951 to Max and Barbara Willing and grew up in the Drayton Plains (Waterford) area. Mary attended Waterford schools and graduated in 1970. Mary started working at the Oakland County Courthouse in September of 1970 and retired in March of 2003. Mary worked in various division of the court, which included Youth Assistance, Juvenile Intake, Juvenile court admin, probate court, and circuit court business division. Mary was married in April of 1971 to Robert E. Gohl. They were blessed with one son Mark, born December 1980. Mary is survived by both her husband Robert and son Mark, as well as her mother Barbara, brother Jim, and sister Nancy.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday April 3, 2025 at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston from 3pm-8pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday April 4th at 11am at the Salvation Army Church at 3015 N. Main Street (2 blocks south from 13 Mile Road) Royal Oak.
