Mary Ellen "Maija" Clogg

CLOGG, Mary Ellen "Maija"; born in Houghton, MI to Matt and Elma Lauluma on November 25, 1944; of Clarkston formerly of Troy; passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 78;

preceded in death by her husband/best friend of 54 years, William "Bill"; mother of Jeri Horning & Bill Clogg; dedicated grandma of Christian (Britney) Horning, Zachary (Lana) Horning & Ava Noelle Clogg; great grandma of Lexi and Austin; sister of Joyce (late Arthur) Hill; preceded in death by her siblings: Grace ( Don) McAdam, Clifford (late Charlotte) Osborne and Richard (late Nona) Osborne.

Maija loved spending time with family and made them her priority. She enjoyed making memories at their Tan Lake house in Oxford and at the Treasure Island, Florida condo.  She owned and operated Creations Salon, Rochester Hills and was a talented crafter. She appreciated anything with extra "bling".

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Saturday, September 23rd at 11:30am with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 12:30pm.
