Merl L. Pepper

PEPPER, Merl L. of Waterford; formerly of Beulah; passed away on February 5, 2025; age 87.  Merl was born March 26, 1937, the son of the late Howard and Ethel Pepper of Grand Blanc.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Nancy, his sister, Miriam (late John) Sifferman.  Merl was the loving father of Kathy (John) Azzopardi and Terry (Bonnie) Pepper.  Proud grandpa of Matthew Azzopardi, Nicholas Azzopardi, and Elizabeth Pepper (fiancé Jason Licata) and Sarah Pepper.  Also survived by many friends from Canterbury on the Lake, extended family and camping acquaintances.

Merl retired from GM-Fisher Body in Flint.  He enjoyed traveling, camping, often at many National Parks, and playing golf.  Merl and Nancy retired to the Beulah and Frankfort area after many years of vacationing there.

Visitation Sunday, February 9th from 1-5 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Funeral Service Monday, February 10th at 10 am at the funeral home.

Private Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the Alzheimer's Association.
