Michelle E. Talbot

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Elizabeth Talbot, beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, sister, and friend who left this world far too soon on February 12, 2026, at the age of 50.

Michelle was born on May 6, 1975, at Princeton Medical Center in Princeton, New Jersey, and grew up in Hamilton Square, New Jersey, where she graduated from Steinert High School in 1993.  Michelle's life truly began when she met the love of her life, best friend, and partner, Rick Talbot, in 2001. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience.  She was the proud and adoring mommy of Kaitlyn and Christopher, who were the very center of her world.  Her children will forever carry forward her strength, warmth, kindness and the countless lessons she taught simply by example.

Michelle was the beloved daughter of Mary (the late Bill) Grocott and a loving sister to Suzanne Grocott Rodgers. She shared a special bond with her mother and cherished the many hours they spent together.

She had a gift of making others feel seen and cared for. Whether through homemade bread, warm cinnamon rolls, a thoughtful phone call, or a quiet act of generosity, she gave of herself freely.  Her smile could light up a room, and her presence brough comfort and joy to all-most especially to Rick, Kaitlyn, and Chris. She will also be missed by her dogs, Zoey and Abby.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rick Talbot; her daughter, Kaitlyn; her son, Chris; her mother, Mary Grocott; her sister, Suzanne Grocott Rodgers; and her two nephews, Zachary and Braeden Rodgers. Preceded in death by her Father, William Grocott.
