Morris D. Hasting

HASTING, Morris D.; born December 9, 1945 in Limestone County, Alabama to Roy and Bunia Hasting; of Waterford; passed away surrounded by family on December 2, 2023 at the age of 77;

high school sweetheart/ husband of Sue for 60 years; father of Rob (Cassie Sobelton) Hasting and Michelle (John) Dutcher; grandpa "Bumpa" of McKayla, Kennedy and Kiley Hasting; preceded in death by his 12 siblings.

Morris served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He retired from J.M.P. Corporation/McDonalds after 55 years as a General Manager. He enjoyed working, designing landscapes, remodeling and woodworking.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Wednesday from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Funeral Service Thursday 12:30 pm at the funeral home with visiting at 11:30 am.

Private family graveside at Eastlawn Cemetery, Lake Orion.
