Pat Gatt

GATT, Mary Patricia "Pat"; of Waterford; passed away on June 23, 2023; age 74.  Beloved wife of George for 53 years.  Loving mother of Elizabeth "Lisa" (Marc Faber) Ciciretto and Andrew (Christine) Gatt.  Proud Nanna of Luke, Daniel, Genevieve, Sebastian and Theodora.  Dearest sister of Joyce (Dave) Leslie, Frances (Geoff) Gunn, Alfred Zammit, Stephen (Dorothy) Zammit, Charlie (Joanne) Zammit, Emanuel (Darlene) Zammit, Paul (Ellen) Zammit, Mario (Kira) Zammit and Dennis (Deanna) Zammit.  Loved sister-in-law of Mary (Charlie) Cassar, Emanuel Gatt SDB, Sam (Lina) Gatt, Lora (Joe) Attard, Josie (late George) Attard, and Ted (Antoinette) Gatt.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Antonia Zammit.

Pat was born on the Island of Malta.  She immigrated to Canada in 1965. Pat moved to the U.S.A. in 1970 after marrying George and was proud to earn her citizenship. She retired as a Registered Nurse from U of M Hospital.  Pat enjoyed reading, cooking and playing the piano.  Pat was always smiling and adored taking care of her family but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

Rosary Service Friday 6 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston where friends may visit Friday 4-8 pm.

Funeral Mass Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10 am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Waterford.

Entombment All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
