Paul H. Robinette

ROBINETTE, Paul Hollis;

of Pontiac; born August 31, 1941 in Varney, Kentucky to Marvin and Nelsie Robinette; passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 83;

Beloved husband of Mary for 61 years;

Father of Paula (Ron) Goldsworthy, Connie (Taker) Dunaway and Scott (Kim Burke) Robinette;

Grandpa "Papa" of Crystal Robinette, Ronnie Goldsworthy, Mariah Robinette, Ashley Robinette, Gena Robinette and Justin Caldwell;

Also survived by two great grandchildren: Grayson and Matix;

Brother of Ricky (Sharon) Robinette and Sue (Steve) Schauer;

Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired after over 40 years as a mechanic with Clyde's Frame & Wheel, Pontiac. He was a member of the VFW Post 1370, Eagles and Flaming Pistons Car Club. Paul built and restored classic cars, having attended several car shows and won many trophies (including placing First Prize twice at Autorama). Paul enjoyed working in his yard and spoiling many dogs over the years, especially his dog Nitro.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Tuesday, October 29th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral Service Wednesday, October 30th at 11:30am at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Procession to Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly for 1:30pm cemetery service with military honors.

Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans .
