Paul Joseph Seifert

SEIFERT, Paul Joseph; of Pontiac, MI, formerly of Old Saybrook, CT;

Born March 4, 1960, in Royal Oak, MI, to William and Carolyn. Passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2026, at the age of 66.

Father of Amanda Hutcheson and Jillian (Patrick) Sluti. Preceded in death by his daughter Sandra “Sandy” Seifert.

Grandpa of Graham, Leona, and Daphne.

Brother of William II, Katherine, and John.

Uncle of Tracy, Kristina, Brandon, Joshua, Dana, Christine, Heather, Sean, and Griffin.

Paul graduated from Clawson High School, class of 1978, and worked as a Tool and Die maker for the majority of his career until he moved to Connecticut in 2007 and started working in sales. He retired in 2023 and moved back to Michigan in 2025. He loved the Detroit Lions, playing pool, being on his boat, or being at the beach. He was the life of the party, always dressed in a Hawaiian shirt. Paul’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids. He always had a pirate joke handy if anyone asked. He will be deeply missed, especially by his grandson Graham, who the two shared a very close bond.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, Saturday, September 26th at 9:00 am.

Memorial Service Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 am at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Cemetery service to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.

Funeral attire or Lions gear encouraged.
