Primo V. Tongko Jr.

TONGKO, JR., Primo V. of Bloomfield Hills; passed away on February 6, 2024; age 81.  Beloved husband of Erlinda for 59 years.  Loving father of Corazon (Arnold) Dulay, Antonia (Gary) Leung, and Primo A. (Michelle) Tongko III.  Proud grandfather of Nino, Armand, Miguel, Aiden, Lilliana, Lucas, and Elyse.  Dearest brother of Roberto (Doring), Gregorio (Georgia) and Rene (Doris) Tongko.  Preceded in death by his siblings Dalisay, Antonio, Bobby, and Armando.

Primo was a longtime member and Lector of St. Benedict Catholic Church.  He was a faithful servant, belonged to the LaPieta prayer group, Knights of Columbus and loved to sing.  He was the Past President of the Waterford Rotary and a longtime member of the Samahang Pilipino of Oakland County organization.  He enjoyed teaching, having social visits and liked being an Insurance Salesman.  Most importantly, Primo loved spending time with family and friends.

Visitation Monday, February 12th from 9 am until 10 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 80 S. Lynn, Waterford.  Funeral Mass follows visitation at 10 am.

Private Inurnment All Saints Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church.
