Renee Kotzan

KOTZAN, Mary Renee of Ortonville; age 67.  Renee passed away on November 2, 2024 after being a true warrior going through several health challenges including breast cancer. Beloved wife of David for 44 years.  Loving mother of Phillip (Andrew Somera) Kotzan and Kristina (Kevin) Mon.  Proud grandmother of Jonathan, Harper, and Nora.  Dearest sister of Robert (Robin) Yakimchick.  Loved sister-in-law of Joseph (Donna) Kotzan. Preceded in death by her grandson and nephew.   Also survived by many nieces, a nephew, extended family and friends.

Renee was a long-time Registered Nurse which included careers in dialysis, hospice, home care, and baby and senior wellness services.  Renee enjoyed sewing, making quilts, and watching Hallmark movies.  She loved creating new experiences, partaking in travel adventures with her children and grandchildren.  Most importantly, Renee loved spending time with her family.

A private Memorial Mass will take place at a later date.
