Richard "Rick" D. Thomson

THOMSON, Richard D. "Rick"; of Waterford; born December 7, 1945, in Schenectady, New York to Edward and Barbara Thomson; passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on February 12, 2026, at the age of 80. Beloved husband and soulmate of Debbie Thomson (Steele). Loving father to his children and devoted "Papa Rick" to his grandchildren.  Rick is also survived by many loving extended family and friends.  He was always welcoming with his smile and accepting to all who knew him.  The friendships were very rich and rewarding.  Rick was a 1965 graduate of Clarkston High School. He loved traveling the world with Debbie and camping. Rick enjoyed boating on Maceday Lake and snow skiing out west but most importantly, he loved spending time with family and friends.

Memorial Service will be Sunday, February 15th at 1:00 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home where family and friends may visit Sunday from 11:00 am until time of the service.
