Richard E. "Dick" Fischer

FISCHER, Richard E. "Dick" age 81, of Hadley and Zephyrhills, FL died peacefully on December 6, 2024, in Zephyrhills, FL. Loving husband of 60 years to Antonietta; dear brother-in-law of Pete DeVita, Mark DeVita, Marie Fischer, and Ida Crandall, and loving and devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Fischer, and three brothers, Edward, Dennis, and Roger Fischer.

Dick worked for General Motors, retiring in 2002, with 38 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and camper, who truly enjoyed the outdoors. After retiring, Dick and Toni wintered in Zephyrhills, FL. Dick continued his love of fishing in Florida, and he also shopped the many flea markets for his collection of fishing poles and reels. He was a member of the Zephyrhills, FL Moose Lodge #2276, where he had a host of friends and enjoyed socializing and dancing.

Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home Clarkston. On Saturday, friends may visit the funeral home beginning at 9:30 am until the time of funeral service at 10:00 am. Interment to follow in Ortonville Cemetery.
