Robert Joseph Barnett

Barnett, Robert J.;  of Waterford, Michigan formerly of Elkridge, West Virginia; passed away on August 23, 2024; age 84;

preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Shirley; cherished father of Kristin Caracciolo and Melissa (Steve) McArthur; brother of  the late Teddy (the late Karleen) Barnette, the late Connie (Bob) Albertson and the late Jerry (Judy) Barnett; loving papa of Ashtin (Patrick) McGillviray, Drake (Mackenzie) McArthur and Skylar (Aaron) Barnes; proud G-papa of Aiden, Eliza, the late Savannah, Rowen & Theoden; also loved by many nephews and nieces, especially Susan Pelkey ; brother in law of the late Jeanne Walling and the late Linda Biller.

Bob retired from General Motors Truck & Bus in 1992 as a general superintendent. He was a member of Saint Trinity Lutheran Church, Clarkston.  Bob was a life member and on the 2nd Degree Team of Pontiac- Waterford Elks BPOE 810 and Clarkston Eagles. He enjoyed bowling.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, August 29th from 3:00pm-8:00pm. Elks Lodge of Sorrow Service at 7:00pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 30th at 10:00 am at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Interment Crescent Hills Cemetery, Waterford.

Memorials may be made to Saint Trinity Lutheran Church or to the Pontiac-Waterford BPOE 810 for Major Projects.
