Robert L. Filbert

FILBERT, Robert Lee; of Lupton, formerly of Clarkston, and Grand Blanc; born April 29, 1932, in Owosso to Alexander and Aldina Filbert. Passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 93.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Sue Ann; he is the father of Terry (David) Charboneau and the late William (Nancy) Filbert; grandpa of Joshua (Danielle) Filbert, Jamie Filbert, Lindsy (Bobby) Kievit, David (Kathleen) Charboneau III, and Bret (Stacey) Charboneau, and great grandpa of Gracie, Bodhi, Oliver and Ella.

Robert served in the Army National Guard and retired as a designer from General Motors. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Clarkston, the Elks Club, and the American Legion. Robert enjoyed playing the harmonica, bowling, and spending time up north, especially outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Friday, Robert will be taken to Calvary Lutheran Church with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.

Private in interment Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.
