Robert H. Gibeau

GIBEAU, Robert H. "Bob"; of Clarkston, formerly of Canton; born August 30, 1947, in Garden City to the late Arthur and Juanita Gibeau; passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 78.  Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Wilma Gibeau. Father of Jeffrey (Sherry) Gibeau, Alex (Stephanie) Gibeau and Patricia Dailide; Grandfather of Kaitlin, Evan, Allison, Rami, Abby, Mason, and Douglas.

Upon graduating high school, Bob joined the United States Air Force, serving his country from 1966 to 1970. Following his time in the service, he worked as a Biomedical Engineer. He later retired from General Dynamics where he held the position of Simulations Lab Manager. In his free time, Bob was an inventor and avid tinkerer of electronics. He loved traveling to Northern Michigan where he enjoyed sightseeing and spending time in nature. Bob will be remembered as one of the last guys who enjoyed driving stick shift, specifically his beloved Pontiac Fiero. He will be dearly missed.
