Robert "Bob" John Sasina

SASINA, Robert John "Bob" age 72 of Waterford died unexpectedly on March 7, 2025. Beloved brother of Deborah Aldrich (Jim Powers) and Dennis Sasina; dear nephew of Jeanne Tomasko, loving cousin of Angie Davidson, and special cousin and friend to many. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marilyn Sasina.

Bob served his country in in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge, he would continue his education at Mo Tech Trade School. Bob worked in a variety of capacities in the automotive industry before going to work at GM, where he worked as a tech writer, retiring in 2023.

Bob was very knowledgeable, he had his pilot's license, was a mechanic, and could fix just about anything. He was an avid golfer, worked as a DJ, and enjoyed country dancing. Bob was a devoted to the Lord, was an avid church goer, and faithfully read scripture daily. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 12:30 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, with visitation starting at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at 2:00 pm with military honors.
