Robert "Bob" Parker

PARKER, Robert "Bob"; of Ortonville; went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 4, 2026, at the age of 90. Reunited with his wife Jean Parker; Father of Ron (Deb) Parker, LeeAnn (Jim Collins) Mroz, Jeff (Jaime) Parker, and Jennifer (Rob Smith) Emblen; Grandfather of Lindsey (Jeremiah) Tucker, Addie (Jeremy) Schaffer, Dani (Phil) Windsor, Allie (Ryan) Witt, Rachel (Nicholas) Bailey, Emily Parker, Robbie Smith, Mykayla Smith, Chase Petibone, and Noah Petibone; Great Grandfather of Maia Grace Tucker, Henry Bailey, Nora Jo Tucker, Harley Windsor, Philip Windsor, and David Bailey; Preceded in death by his siblings Corda (Ed) Stemmer, Marian (Oakley) Picklesimer, Bill (Surviving Nancy) Parker, and his parents Harvey and Stella Parker.

Bob was a hard worker who spent over 30 years with General Motors. After that, he spent much of his time as a carpenter building homes. He had a great love for his Lord and his church. His favorite hobby in the world was fishing and also enjoyed camping. Bob was very passionate and also a founding member of the 4H Fair. But he loved nothing more than his family. Bob spent all of his time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a true inspiration for his family.

A Visitation will be held at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Thursday 4pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 1pm at Shalom Baptist Church at 3400 Morgan Road, Orion, 48359. Memorial donations may be made towards Shalom Baptist Church.
