Robert "Bob" Radoye

Robert "Bob" Clark Radoye, of Davisburg, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Bob was born February 19, 1952 to Stan and Mary Ann Radoye. They preceded him in death

His wife, Deborah, also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughters, Shanna (Scott Sweetman) Hershey and  Claire Simon (Joe), grandchildren, Florence and Cassius Simon;  sisters, Sally Hadden (Charlie) and Holly Baldwin; sisters-in-law, Leah Dziewit, Renee (David) Osgood, Amelia (Ivan) Schiff; brothers-in-law, Martin (Pamela) Dziewit and Gregory (Debra) Dziewit; nephews, Travis Hadden, Brian Schiff, Reese Riley, Alexander Dziewit, Connor Dziewit, Sage Dziewit, Ethan Dziewit; Reid Schiff; nieces, Gabrielle Henry (McCord), Courtney (Adam) Arb, Caroline Baldwin, Lauren (Billy) Weber, and Leslie (Jason) McLain; several great-nieces and nephews; and his best fur-buddy, Ryder.

Bob graduated from Clarkston High School in 1970 and then went onto work in the landscaping business his entire life.  Bob was one of the hardest workers anyone could meet. He instilled this work ethic for those who worked for him and for his daughters as well.  He first started working at age 14 with his dad at Ritter's. He later worked for Drayton Pool and Supply and then started his own landscaping business, Radoye Landscaping. He then worked for Bedrock of Ortonville for many years. His pride in work reflected in all of the business relationships and friendships he made along the way.

He just celebrated his 70th birthday with his family. He made the most of his retirement: spending time with his much-loved daughters and grandchildren, making treks to Florida to enjoy the sun with his sisters, golfing with his buddies, heading to the UP for fishing trips and offering great commentary for sporting events in text chains with his buddies. He was a true Sparty through and through, and of course, the most commentary would come when the Spartans were in action on the field or on the court.

Bob was everyone's best friend, and all would say he "truly was the nicest guy." He also would give advice to those who sought it, but his favorite reply was, "it is what it is." He will now join Deborah, who was the love of his life, into eternity. They fell in love in Frankfort, Mich. and this became their favorite destination for many years. They loved hosting gatherings at their house entertaining anyone who cared to stop by.  They are now sitting in their Adirondack chairs offering cheers to all they loved.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday April 8 ^th at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkson. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday April 9 ^th at the funeral home.
