Robert L. Slaughter Jr.

SLAUGHTER, Robert L. Jr.; of Clarkston formerly of Holly;

born January 20, 1954 in Romulus, New York;

passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2026 of natural causes. Age 72.

Preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Robin.

Father of Robert “Bobby” Slaughter III, Rachel (Roger Fontes) Slaughter, Renee (Alex) Bell and Ryan (Ashley White) Slaughter.

Grandpa of Nolan, Madison, Austin and Alayna.

Brother of Sue Slaughter, Jim (Katherine) Slaughter, Laurie (Scott) Benson and the late John (Hopi) Slaughter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a master carpenter, having been a home builder. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed being involved in his kids and grandkid’s sporting events, even coaching Summer league baseball. Bob was a friend to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

Private interment All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.
