Robert P. Young

YOUNG, Robert P. "Bob"; of Waterford, died Sunday May 17, 2026, at his home with his family by his side, at the age of 80. He was born in St. Helens South, England on June 23, 1945, the son to the late Jesse and Laura (Hooper) Young.

Bob married the love of his life Susan Lynn Kennedy in Waterford on August 26, 1989. He owned and operated B&S Lawn Service for many years. Bob was an avid gun collector, an old car enthusiast, tinkering around with 66 Chavelle. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and riding his Harley. Most of all Bob loved having a good time with family and dearest friends.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Susan of 37 years; his mother in law Patricia Kennedy; sister in laws Nancy (Jack) Moore and Tami Kennedy; niece and nephew Darcy and Jesse and Dakoda his beloved sidekick and dog.

Arrangements for Bob were entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. A private family service will be held in his honor.
