Roger Stephen Messing

MESSING, Roger S. age 59 of Holly, died unexpectedly at his home.

Son of Jean (the late Jermia) Messing, father of Andrea (Nathaniel) Gurski; grandpa, of Austin, Violet, Lilley, and Paisley; brother of Joseph (Pamela) Messing, Ralph (Barbara) Messing, Dolores (Mark) Farrelly, Jacqueline Turner, Natalie (Robert) Hetzel, Lorie Hartwick, Timothy Messing, and Heather Messing (Dante Kleinberg); and uncle and friend to many.

Roger worked in maintenance his entire life. He was able to fix almost anything, including cars, and home repairs, he was truly a Jack of all trades. He had a vibrant personality that could light up any room. Roger was a devoted son, dad, grandpa, and brother, who was loved by all. He enjoyed classic cars, attending the Woodward Dream Cruise and the Holly Car Show, and he never met a stranger.

Family will receive friends at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Friday, October 4th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 5:00 pm. On Saturday, October 5, 2024, family and friends will gather at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston beginning at 10:30 am, with Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
