Ronald A. Engel

ENGEL, Ronald A. of Ortonville; passed away on April 24, 2024; age 91.  Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marlene and his siblings: Gary (Camie) Engel, Gilbert (late Adelle) Engel, and Milton Engel.  Loving father of Doug Engel and Pam (Rick) Stout.  Proud grandpa of Tyler (Bryce) Stout and Tori (Jacob) Boone.  Dearest brother of Darla (David) Koenig, Diane Engel, and Tom (Patricia) Engel.

Ron retired from General Motors and Ford Motor Company.  He was proud to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ron enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching sports, especially the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and U of M football.  He liked playing cards, camping and traveling with his wife and children.

Family and Friends may visit Friday 4-8 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Funeral Service Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11 am at the funeral home.

Interment with Military Honors Monday 9 am at Great Lakes National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Michigan DAV.
