Ronald C. Kugler

Ronald Carl Kugler, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. He was born on January 11, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Paul and Leola Kugler.

Ron was a Police Officer in Livonia for over 17 years which included some time working as a Police Liaison Officer at Franklin High School. He had the honor of being named the VFW Police Officer of the Year in 1982. Ron also loved horses and his dogs, Maddie and Pearl.

Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia, his daughter, Racheal (Patrick) Garnett, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter. Also survived by sisters-in-law Linda Kelley and Kay (Keith) Flood, along with his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Paul.
