Ruth Eleanor Briggs

BRIGGS, Ruth Eleanor; of Clarkston, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2023 at the age of 91. Ruth was born on December 23,1931 to Harold and Lillian Firth of Whitinsville, MA. She is preceded in death by her husband George Elliott Briggs whom she married in August 1951 and spent over 55 years with together. She is survived by her cherished son George Ernest Briggs.

Ruth had a wicked sense of humor, loved water skiing and boating, was an incredible baker of pies, incurable chocoholic, and voracious collector and seller of antiques. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered.

Simple Cremation Arrangements entrusted to the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to McLaren Health Care, Palliative Care .
