Shane Jay Chapman

CHAPMAN, Shane Jay;

of New Boston formerly of  Rochester Hills.

Born October 15, 1989 in Royal Oak; passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2026 at the age of 36;

Beloved son of Jeff and Ailyn; big brother of Alexis (Derick) Steinard and Austin (Jill) Chapman;doting uncle of Sofia & Sydney Steinard and Chloe & Quinn Chapman; grandson of Alicia Regueyra, Lucy (late Francisco) Regueyra and Jack (late Sandy) Chapman;

Shane's dogs, Riley and Izzy, were the center of his life and they were his kids. He graduated from Rochester High School in 2008 and earned a bachelor degree from Michigan State University. Shane worked as a senior estimator in property restoration.
He will be remembered for his love of food, books, concerts, music, tattoos, football and hockey.

Cremation entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Celebration of Life gathering Tuesday, January 27th from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Slows Bar BQ, Berkley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Detroit Dog Rescue.
