Sherry Balinski

Sherry A. Balinski (nee Hamlin), age 55, passed away on October 17, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on September 28, 1969, in West Virginia.

Sherry was a compassionate individual who dedicated her life to social work after graduating from Mott High School.  Described by those close to her as a hero and lifelong friend, Sherry's presence was a beacon of strength and love. Her impact was profoundly felt by her friends and family, particularly during the final reconciliations which brought much-needed peace and closure.

Sherry is survived by her beloved husband, Joe and by her loving sisters, Alice (Robert) Parsons, Terry Krizan, Elizabeth H., and her youngest sister, Angel Abernathy. She was preceded in death by her relatives William Hamlin and Richard Hamlin, and Deborah Sorrell.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Andersonville Cemetery 6421 Ridgewood, Clarkston.

Sherry's legacy of kindness and dedication to helping others will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
