Steven M. Smith

SMITH, Steven M.; of Ortonville, formerly of Clarkston; born September 4, 1958 in Monroe; passed away October 24, 2025 at the age of 67;

preceded in death by his wife Joann in 2022; father of Bryan Smith, Adam Smith, Michael Smith and Alex (Katie) Smith; grandpa "papa" of  Lucy, Marietta, Raelyn, Levi and Reid; son of Mary Lou (the late Clifford) Smith; brother of Scott (Ann) Smith, Brenda (Dan) Burnard and Ronda (Jeff) Barron; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Steve graduated from Monroe High School in 1976 and attended Ferris State University. He retired as COO of Giffin, Inc in Auburn Hills. Steve enjoyed restoring cars, boating and attending concerts/sporting events.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Wednesday, Oct. 29th from 3:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral Mass Thursday, Oct. 30th at 10:30am at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston with visiting directly at the church at 10:00am.

Interment All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Blood Cancer United or American Cancer Society .
