Sue Kingsepp Ring

RING, Susan; of Clarkston, MI; born July 25, 1940, in Syracuse, NY; passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 85.

Beloved mother of Jonathan (Ellen) Kingsepp and Molly (Mike) Pattison and the late Christopher Kingsepp; grandmother of Sydney, Andrew, Avery, Kate, Christopher, and Emma; beloved aunt of Sue VanNess; preceded in death by parents Herbert and Helen Nalton, and sisters Patricia and Cynthia.

Sue graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. Throughout her life, she has been very involved in a wide range of activities, reflecting her lifelong commitment to community and social giving. This included, Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Clarkston Optimist Club, Junior League of Birmingham, and the Detroit Zoological Society. She was a dedicated member of the Christ Church Cranbrook, where she would often volunteer and attend services. Sue enjoyed her monthly Wine Sippers Club and frequent gatherings along the "eyebrow". In her free time, she was an avid gardener, traveler, and enjoyed golfing, pickleball, and tennis. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with her entire family and friends.

Friends and family may visit the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Sunday, March 15, from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Christ Church Cranbrook on Monday, March 16, at 11:00am.
